On Sunday afternoon, December 22, “Treebeard” James Prebula Jr., aged 42 passed in a single vehicle motorcycle accident. He was a resident of Illinois, Ohio, and Arizona for the past 7 months where he lived with his beloved fiancé, Heidi Claeyssen.
Anyone that ever crossed paths with him, would tell you what a positive, bright, happy go lucky demeanor he had and that he was always willing to help out not just a friend in need but someone he had just met as well. He believed the good you give comes back to you and despite any hardships that mantra always kept him positive and caring.
His son, Dylan, was reunited with him and moved to the area last year and they became thick as thieves. They loved to spend time together and go on random, crazy adventures. You can see every bit of James in Dylan just in certain gestures or when speaking. They had a great relationship and friendship.
He enjoyed living the Wook life with his family of Wooks in Ohio, spinning fire and listening to music at festivals and just running amuck, making amazing memories.
He always had a blast going to concerts with one of his best friends Nico and loved causing a friendly, goofy ruckus whenever, or wherever he went; driving her crazy while making her laugh at the same time. His SUEYYY laugh will always be remembered.
He found his hetero life partner, in his best friend CJ. The two enjoyed going on adventures together, including fishing, tubing and going on bike rides.
He moved to Arizona this past year to live with his fiancée, Heidi where they enjoyed exploring new areas and planning for their future. He also found a wonderful job at WC Machine and Tool and was very proud, as we all were, of the growth and success he achieved there in such a short time.
He leaves behind so many friends and loved ones. His first born daughter, Savanna, first born son, James III, with his ex-wife Theresa, sons Dylan and Alex with former partner Nikki, son Dean with former partner Snow.
He also leaves behind his parents James Sr. and Debi, his brothers David and Derek, and his birth mother, Itsy Buckley.
He has gone to be with his grandparents in Heaven and recently his Grandma Francis (9/24).
We all find peace knowing that he lived his life to the fullest, his way, and happy.
