The story of Gloria
Gloria Jean Senclair, known fondly as Jean, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2023, at her home in Parker, Colorado, at the age of 75. Born on April 20, 1948, in Denver, Colorado, Jean was a woman of unwavering courage, strength, optimism, and remarkable generosity. Jean was born to the late John Peter and Edna Marjorie Bahl and grew up alongside her brothers, Robert (Rhoda) Bahl, and James (Pam) Bahl. Jean is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Senclair, her brothers and four children. She was the proud and supportive mother of Alvin (Tracie) Merritt, Sheri (Sean) Hering, Kimberly (Jeff) Baird, and Marcie (Jose) Martinez. Jean was preceded in death by her son, Charles "Charlie" Harris, a loss that she carried with grace and strength. She held a special place in her heart for Charlie and will be reunited with him in eternal peace. Also preceded in death by her newborn grandson, Jose Martinez, Jr., may they run and play for eternity in heaven. In addition to her children, Jean was a cherished grandmother to twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her love for her family knew no bounds, her family was her pride and joy. Her courage was evident in the way she managed life's difficulties, never backing down in the face of adversity. Gloria Jean Sinclair’s life was a hard but amazing journey that was filled with love, courage, and an undying spirit of generosity. The world is undoubtedly a better place for having had her in it. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. A ceremony to celebrate Jean's life will be held on October 7, 2023, at 9:00am at the Ruth Memorial Chapel located at 19650 Mainstreet in Parker, Colorado (80138). In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Jean's memory to the Colorado Humane Society, ASPCA, or the Denver Dumb Friends League. These organizations were close to Jean's heart, and your support will continue her legacy of compassion towards animals. Her departure has left a void in the lives of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and kindness she shared with everyone around her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
