The story of
Erica Marie Devlin Amador passed away Dec 30, 2024 after a 5 year battle with cancer. She fought the battle hard, but her body finally gave up the struggle and she succumbed to the war. Born on January 1, 1973 to her loving parents Charles (aka Chris ) and Diane Devlin she was basically an only child until joined by her brother Joey 14 years later. She became the great older sister and took him with her wherever she went. Always an animal lover, many pets were in her life; rats, hamsters, fish, ferrets, turtles, lizards, cats, and many dogs. After working in the auto parts industry for 20 years she finally learned to groom dogs, took dog training and health classes and this became her passion. She regularly gave her skill to animal shelters and dogs in need. Her other passions were outdoors fun with riding quads, fast cars, camping ,fishing, photography, art, crafts, inventing, boating and anything around the beach. She found her soul mate Jaime Amador in 2014 and they were married Jan 1, 2016. She taught him how to groom dogs and together they lived a wonderful life accomplishing many things, a new business, built a home in San Felipe, and much more. Together always. Her smile was contagious to all including the friends and family in Mexico who loved her even with the language barrier (she was constantly taking Spanish courses) . She made friends wherever she went and also many dog friends. She always gave 100% to anything she was passionate about. She is survived by her Husband Jamie, her mother Diane, and her brother Joe and her 2 fur babies , Nacho and Natasha. Her Father, Charles died in 2013. In lieu of flowers please donate to ARIZONA Animal welfare League https://aawl.org/content/donate a cause deeply important to Erica.
