Cloyd Bell, the love of my life, left his mortal body in the early morning hours of August 20, 2024. He was a very proud man with many friends-if you knew Cloyd, then he has bought you a drink, and would consider you a friend. Next time you think of him, or tonight, please clink your glass to a man who was one of a kind, to know him was truly an honor.
He wanted to be remembered for the following:
34 years of working at United Airlines, a job that he had no idea would give so much back to him. CB Bell, his food brokerage which he built while still working at United Airlines. By far he
felt his biggest accomplishment was The SignMakers, LLC which has been in business for 40 plus years. He built it from ground zero and turned it into a Company that he dreamed would be multi-generational and for his legacy to carry on far into the future.
He was preceded in death by son Montgomery Austin Bell, Mother, Hazel Sager, Stepfather Ray Sager, Father Grant Bell, sister Klea Thalman, as well as many other family and friends. He leaves behind his wife Carol-they lived an amazing life, always looking forward to their next adventure during their over 38 years together, while joining two families that are so loved and hoping all their relationships continue. Daughter Teri (Mike), Paige, Bryson (Tiffany) Brandt (Renae) Michele (Brian) Mitch (Lesley). 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. There will be no services or celebration of life per his request. In his own words. “I have bought enough drinks in my life that no celebration is needed, please take the day off if you can, and toast me when you think about me. Cheers, see you on the other side.”
