Christopher Lamme Cochrane, age 50, passed away on February 17, 2024. He found immense joy in his passions, whether cheering for the Broncos regardless of the outcome, competing on the tennis court, immersing himself in captivating literature, cherishing moments with loved ones, building his collection of vinyl records, or exploring new destinations.
Graduating from Colorado State University, Chris dedicated the last 25 years to shaping young minds as a devoted high school English teacher. His commitment to guiding his students toward greater heights reflected his gentle, compassionate nature, leaving a lasting impact on those he taught and worked alongside.
Chris leaves behind his beloved wife Melissa Cochrane, his father David Cochrane and stepmother Mimi Larson his brother Patrick Cochrane, sister Chiana Larson, aunt Jennifer Mandelson and uncle Richard Mandelson, cousins Paul Mandelson and wife Branda, Emily Mandelson, and Taylor Lamme as well as father-in-law Ken Long and wife Elizabeth Petri and stepson Evan Winslow. He is preceded in death by his mother Judith Lamme, his aunt Jane Ackerman, uncle James Lamme and aunt Wendy Linscott.
In accordance with Chris’s request, he will be cremated. A future gathering will be held to honor his memory and celebrate his life, details to be shared at a later date.
