On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Anne Clark, sister to John and Bill Pfingstag and aunt to several nieces and nephews, passed away at the age of 87.
Anne was born on July 13, 1935, in Boston, MA, to Paul and Martha Pfingstag. She grew up as part of a military family and lived in many places growing up, including South Carolina, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
After her father’s retirement, she lived in Colorado and California before settling in Phoenix, where she lived until her recent passing.
She was a female trailblazer and worked for the majority of her career in computer programming analysis at Motorola and APS until her retirement. After retiring, Anne dedicated much of her time to volunteering, including with Hospice of the Valley.
Anne had a passion for tole painting, quilting, and bridge. Swimming and riding her bike were some of her favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors. She was also a cat lover since she was young and lovingly referred to them as her “kids”. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and creative hobbies that brought joy to her life and others.
Anne was preceded in death by her father Paul and her mother, Martha. She is survived by her brothers John and Bill Pfingstag.
