Ron Sharrit passed away on February 22, 2014 of a fast onset illness. He was married to his wife Tracylyn Sharrit for 25 years; a marriage admired by anyone that saw the love they had together. He was known as a kind man that provided for his family and engaged in many nonprofit activities. These organizations were Rotary, Feeding America, Santa Claus Inc., Mary's. Mercy Center, The Boys and Girls Club, and Helpful Helpful Honda. Additionally, Ron was a hardworking carpenter for 40 years. He was loved by everyone that knew him. He was a father of six grown children: Summer Sharrit, Joshua Holley, Ron Sharrit Jr, Susan Sharrit, Samuel Lock, and his youngest Chelsea Lock. He has 13 grand children that miss his love and laughter building forts. He loved his cats: Blue Eyes, Ninja, Vincent, Penny, and Pocket. He was brave and never showed others his pain. In the end, Jesus (a fellow Carpenter), came to take him to Heaven where Ron is safe and loved. Ron's family is thankful for the beautiful life he provided and shared with them. He was never a stepfather, he was known as the Step Up Daddy; Ron is missed beyond words. Rest in peace Ron (My True North). We will continue to love you forever; a d we will see you on the other side.
