On March 24, 2024, David C. Cross, affectionately known as Dave, passed away at the age of 64 in the City of San Dimas, California.

Dave spent the majority of his life in Southern California, where he grew up, graduated high school, then earned a college degree and started a career in air conditioning; joining in business with his father.

After the loss of his beloved father, Dave began his career as a Superintendent in a residential and commercial construction company in Southern California.

Dave has etched his expertise and excellence in the many structures he built throughout our area. Those structures will serve as a testament to Dave’s passion for his job, his knowledge of construction, and his dedication to his crew and clients.

Dave’s passion for being of service to others is evident in the vast number of persons whose lives Dave saved or positively affected as a sponsor and friend to those dealing with addiction issues. Those who continue to carry on Dave’s selfless work are evidence of the profound effect Dave had on the people he met.

Dave enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR races and was a lifelong Dodgers and Raiders fan. Dave particularly loved the movie, Princess Bride, often finding a way to use the quote “inconceivable” multiple times a day.

Dave’s memory will be forever cherished by his wife Carol, his children Amanda, Miranda, Elizabeth, and Torri, and his adored grandchildren Catie, Maggie, and Mira. Dave’s absence will also be felt by a close-knit family of cousins, nieces, and nephews. His absence will also be profoundly felt by a community of friends and colleagues who respected and admired him.

A Celebration of Life will be held by Dave’s family in the near future. Details will be posted on social media when available.
